Pupil Premium Grant
The Pupil Premium Grant is a Government Policy on allocating additional money to schools, specifically targeting children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As an Independent School, Chiltern Tutorial School does not directly attract these payments; instead the government pays the grant to the Local Authority on whose census return the child or young person appears. The Local Authority retains responsibility for allocating the premium and in deciding what provision should be made for the pupil.
If a child has a EHC plan or a Statement and is placed by the local authority at Chiltern Tutorial School , then we follow the guidelines of the LEA as to how of funds should be allocated.
We do not receive any Sport Premium.
